Adrian District Library to Host Latino Poetry Writing Workshop

Adrian, MI – The Adrian District Library is hosting a Latino Poetry Writing Workshop in early October. This bilingual event, October 3rd from 6pm until 7:30pm will take place at 143 E. Maumee St. in Downtown Adrian.

The workshop will be led by Nadia Mota and Inocencia Ramirez-Gorski, Latinex and Adrian native poets. Participants will get tips on how to put their words into writing, and express themselves in English or Spanish.

Attendees will also get information on the library’s upcoming reading and discussion event on the book, “Latino Poetry Places We Call Home,” taking place in April of 2025. The first 25 participants will receive a free copy of the book to prepare for the discussion.

There’s no cost to attend, but registration is required. Those interested in attending can sign up with the Adrian District Library.
