Kristine R. Fogelsong, age 50, of Adrian, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 26, 1974, in Adrian to the late James and Cindy Smith. Kristine graduated from Adrian High School in 1992. She then married the love of her life, Brett Fogelsong, on August 13, 1994. They raised a family of two children and celebrated over 30 wonderful years together.
Kristine worked for Hi-Lex Controls for many years and loved her coworkers there. When she wasn’t working, Kristine could usually be found at home watching murder mysteries. She was a member of the Lenawee County Conservation League and was very passionate about the military and her second amendment rights. Most importantly, Kristine was dedicated to her family and always enjoyed cooking and baking for them.
To cherish her memory, Kristine leaves her loving husband, Brett; two children, Josh (Shelby) Fogelsong and Shelby (Aaron) Bear; a brother, Jay Smith; nieces, Arieanna Smith and Chloe Carrey; nephews, Xavier Rodriguez and Travis Powell; a cousin, Shawn Gillentine; and her fur babies, Sam, Pip, and Sica. In addition to her parents Jim and Cindy, Kristine was preceded in death by a cousin, Brian Gillentine.
