
Carl Jerrad “CJ” Dyess, age 28, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024. He was born on September 23, 1995, in Roane County, Tennessee to Edwin and Linda (Edwards) Rembowski. Carl attended Belleville High School. He then began working for WESCO International as a field technician.
Carl was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, airsoft guns, and collecting knives. Carl was happiest when he was around his friends and listening to music. He was kindhearted and always helped others even when he needed help himself. Most importantly, Carl’s whole life was his son, Odin, and he spent every minute with Odin that he could.
To cherish his memory, Carl leaves his mother, Linda (Derek) Rembowski-Dawson; two sons, Odin Dyess and Emerson Drab; his wife, Jennafer Marie and her son, Avery Dyess; two brothers, Aaron Boles and Dustin Dawson; grandparents, Paula and Carl Edwards; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Cody Boles, and uncle, Whitney Edwards.
Visitation for Carl will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home from 3:00 until the time of the service beginning at 5:00 pm. Rev. William VanValkenburg will officiate. The family has asked that everyone bring their favorite picture of Carl to display at the service.
