Lansing, MI – State Rep. Will Bruck today welcomed Monroe County Sheriff’s Sgt. Mike Bomia, Frenchtown Township Fire Captain John DeBarr, and Frenchtown Township Fire Chief Wendy Stevens to the state Capitol for a special ceremony.
The annual ceremony marks the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the United States, honors first responders and military members working in our communities, and remembers those in Michigan who have died in the line of duty.
Bruck represents the 30th House District, which includes Deerfield and Ridgeway townships and part of Blissfield Township in Lenawee County, as well as part of Monroe County: the cities of Luna Pier and Petersburg, part of the city of Monroe, the townships of Bedford, Erie, Ida, La Salle, Monroe, Summerfield, and Whiteford, and part of Frenchtown Township.
