Adrian, MI – Hunters Helping Lenawee has announced its second annual Hunters Helping Lenawee Golf Outing. The program is a part of the Lenawee Community Foundation. They raise funds from donors to assist in covering the cost of processing and delivering venison to food pantries and meal programs for people in need.

In 2023, donations paid for processing nearly 2,400 pounds of venison, generating over 9,545 meals. In the past thirteen years they have provided nearly 60,000 meals. Lenawee hunters have been so generous in donating deer, that at this time the processing costs have depleted funds that were previously raised.

The Hunters Helping Lenawee Golf Outing is going to be held on September 29th at the Tecumseh Golf Club. Hole and cart sponsorships are available. Contact Hunters Helping Lenawee or the Lenawee Community Foundation for more information.
