Jackson, MI – Taking a chance on the World Class Millions instant game led to a huge payday for a Jackson County woman when she won the game’s $4 million top prize.

The lucky 48-year-old player, who chose to remain anonymous, bought her winning ticket at Royal Liquor Food Market in Jackson.

The player recently visited Lottery headquarters to claim the big prize. She chose to receive her prize as a one-time lump sum payment of about $2.7 million rather than annuity payments for the full amount. With her winnings, she plans to donate and then save the remainder.

The player said, “I plan to continue working, and when the time comes, I am going to use my winnings as a financial cushion for retirement.”
