Loretta Charleen Dempsey, age 52 years of Morenci, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 19th, 2024, at the Northwest Ohio Hospice Center. She was born October 14th, 1971, in Adrian, the daughter of Michael and Charleen Dempsey. “Retta” worked at the original Dempseys Restaurant with her father for a number of years until they closed their doors. Her hobbies included cooking, painting, playing piano, and making people laugh. She loved her family dearly and customers who became her friends. She is survived by her friend Mark. Her children Bruce Jr. (Kelly)Mohr, Megan Mohr, Emily (Devon)Rose, and Izabella Stepansky. Her grandchildren Madelynn Mohr, Atlas Mohr, Daxton and Viessa Rose. Her siblings Pat (Cheyenne) Dempsey, Theresa (Mike) Kovacs, Elizabeth (David) Flores, Deborah (Jeff) Lake, and Duffy Dempsey. Along with several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death father Michael Dempsey, mom Charleen Dempsey, and brother Steven Dempsey.
Memorial Gathering will be Friday, September 20, 2024, at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home from
3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service immediately following at 5:00 p.m.
