Legacy Arbor Assists with Recent Lenawee Great Start Diaper Drive

Adrian, MI – Lenawee Great Start, with some help from Gleaner Life Insurance Society’s Legacy Arbor, recently held a diaper drive. The diaper drive collected 5,546 diapers, 5,552 wipes and more than $2,300. Gleaner’s Legacy Arbor, donated $1,000 to the drive.

Diapers, wipes, cream, and other items donated or purchased through the drive will be distributed to Lenawee County families in need, according to Lisa Eack, director of Lenawee Great Start Collaborative. Lenawee Great Start is planning several pop-up distribution events to help parents pick up enough items to last one week.

Pop ups are scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m. Aug. 28 at Deerfield Branch Library; 4-6 p.m., Aug. 29, Hudson Carnegie Library; 4-6 p.m., Sept. 4, Clayton Branch Library; 3:30-5:30 p.m., Sept. 11, Onsted Branch Library; and 5-7 p.m., Sept. 12, Ebeid Center at Comstock, 801 E. Maumee St., Adrian.
