Adrian, MI – The Adrian community, and police department, are still searching for answers after a teenager was struck by a vehicle which fled the scene earlier this month.
15-year-old Dakota Courington was struck by the vehicle at the intersection of Clinton and Chestnut Streets at around Noon on August 9th.
Dakota was placed into a medically induced coma due to swelling around his brain. The latest update is that he is slowly coming out of the coma.
The Adrian Police Department is reviewing multiple tips about suspect vehicles, and are continuing to work on the case. If you have any information on the hit-and-run, contact the Adrian Police Department.
