Adrian, MI – After further investigation by the Jackson County Medical Examiner’s Office, the human remains that were found on Dale Warner’s property have been positively identified as Dee Warner.
The Michigan State Police reported Wednesday night that her death has been ruled a homicide. The manner of death has been confirmed, however, the MSP is withholding that information pending further investigation. The MSP also reported that although there has been positive identification on the remains, and manner of death has been confirmed, this is an ongoing investigation.
Earlier this week, the MSP said that an autopsy could not positively identify the remains.
Dale Warner was arrested in November 2023 and charged with her murder. A trial is set for September in Lenawee County Circuit Court. MSP says that investigators will continue to gather evidence and work with the Lenawee County Prosecutor’s Office.
