Thomas Edward Deere, age 84 passed away quietly at home on 8/13/24
After serving in the military he became a Detroit police officer and later went to work for ACCO and worked until he retired.
Ed loved to enjoy his family as well as watching the Tigers, golf and old movies.
He is proceeded in death by his mother, Clara Maxine Smith Deere, his father Thomas Deere, his wife of 39 years Janet Lee Deere and his great granddaughter Autumn Shupe
He is survived by his 3 sons, Thomas E. Deere (Patty), John R. Deere (Cynthia), James I. Deere (Toni), 2 daughters, Donna Shupe (Charlie), Pamela Rose, brother John Deere and sister Helen Deere Cullen.
He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Jessica, Dustin, Matthew, Travis, Casey, Angel, Danielle, Blake, Savanna, Kenny, Christopher, Jenifer and several great grandchildren.
Ed passed with no pain and knew that God and his family were waiting. He will be missed by all and we had so many wonderful years that we will keep as memories until we join him.
