Adrian, MI – The Michigan Department of Transportation has several projects going-on currently in Lenawee County, with another one planned for a well-traveled bridge.
The City of Adrian announced Monday that MDOT will begin a construction project on the US-223 bridge between Division Street and Treat Highway. The City says that the project will begin September 4th, and should be done in November. There will be lane restrictions during the US-223 bridge project.
The major work being done on US-223 in the northwest part of Lenawee County, according to MDOT, will be completed by this November. Roadwork on US-127 near Addison heading north is scheduled to be completed by November as well.
The City of Adrian reminds residents that work on West Maumee street from US-223 to Church street will continue through October. The repaving project on M-34 in, and west of Adrian, will be wrapping up by early September.
