Adrian, MI – Two Adrian men recently entered guilty pleas in relation to violent crimes, including the role one of them played in a 2019 murder. 38-year-old David Taylor was involved in the murder of Christopher Dickerson, and was charged with accessory after the fact. He has been in jail since his arrest in 2019, and has been awaiting sentencing while he was called to testify in court in the Dickerson case.

Taylor pleaded guilty in Lenawee County Circuit Court to being an accessory after the fact to a felony. He admitted to being in possession of the pistol that was used to shoot Dickerson after he was killed in January of 2019.

Taylor led police to Dickerson’s body in a wooded area near Morenci about a month after he was killed. In answering questions from Lenawee County Assistant Prosecutor Douglas Hartung, he said he didn’t know what happened to the gun except that it was sold.

Taylor and Austin Richardson each accused the other of shooting Dickerson. Richardson was recently sentenced to prison for second-degree murder and gang membership felonies.

Taylor and another man, Juan Bosquez, each pleaded guilty to charges related to two robberies in early 2019. They each said they were armed with a handgun. Taylor said in both robberies he was armed with the gun that was used to kill Dickerson.

Several other charges and habitual offender supplements are to be dismissed when Bosquez and Taylor are sentenced October 3rd.
