Committee Moves Forward with $20 Million Contract for Maurice Spear Campus Project

Adrian, MI – The Lenawee County Personnel Ways and Means Committee approved the first step of a contract agreement with Granger, the contractor at risk with the Maurice Spear campus project. The allocation of funds breaks-down like this:

  • $16 million of American Rescue Plan Act dollars
  • $2.5 million from the Department on Aging
  • $1.5 million from the contingency division of the capital improvement fund

The contract will be before the Board of Commissioners for final approval this afternoon at their 1:30 pm meeting.
