Adrian, MI – The City of Adrian Engineering Services Department has issued an update on the road work happening on Church Street. The department says that drive approaches and sidewalk replacement is taking place this week, and will continue through next week.
Utility structures will be lowered next week as well as they prepare to add the remaining necessary stone. Paving will follow after the road is brought up to the necessary grade. After the road has been paved, the City says that they will begin raising and adjusting the utility structures. The final step in this process is to restripe the road.
Remember, on-street parking will not be allowed in the construction area between 6am and 6pm. Parking on adjacent streets may be necessary. Contact the City of Adrian Engineering Services Department with any questions.
