Charles Franklin Karn, age 73, of Clinton MI, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at his home. He was born December 2, 1950 in Saline, MI, the son of the late Francis Peter and Janet Amelia (Wright) Karn.
Charles was a proud 1969 graduate of Saline High School where he played on the football team. He also enjoyed playing baseball on various local teams during his younger years. He married Mary Ann Larson on October 30, 2004 at Forest Hills Bible Chapel in Ada, MI, and they enjoyed twenty years together. He was employed in the grocery store industry where he served as head stocker. Charles was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Saline MI.
In addition to his wife Mary Ann, Charles is survived by nineteen children, Nathan Karn, Tina (Billy) Ford, Trisha Toler, Heather Church, Grace Miller, David Church, Vanessa Church, Brian Church, Samantha (Juan) Castelan, Jenna Church, Tabitha Hernandez, Shawn Church, Kaitlyn (Justin) Heyboer, Ashley Karn (Justin), Ian Church, Jessica (Josh) Parsell, Anthony Karn, Gage Karn (Katie) and Blake Karn; one brother, Allan Karn of Jackson, MI; one sister, Sharon (Gary) Schwab of Brooklyn, MI; twenty-one grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and two children, Jared Church and Anjelica Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics.
