Hudson, MI – Hudson Area Schools has announced a new partnership with Family Medical Center of Michigan, a Federally Qualified Health Center, to open a school-based health center at Southern Michigan Center for Science and Industry.
This will offer primary health care and mental health services to local children and adolescents ages four through 21. The Hudson Community Health Clinic will be fully open in September 2024.
Parents who wish to sign their student up for primary care and/or behavioral health services can do so by calling 517-291-8726 after September 3rd.
The partnership between Hudson area Schools and Family Medical Center of Michigan began in 2020 when they launched full scale behavioral health services for all students inside the schools with limited behavioral health availability to the community.
The health center at the CSI will also offer limited dental services for the students at Hudson Area Schools and neighboring districts along with limited primary care time slots for school staff and community members.
