Christine Ann Kidd, age 67, of Adrian, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, in her home under the loving care of her youngest daughter and Hospice of Lenawee. She was born on August 22, 1956, in Tecumseh, to Donald and Janice (Klopfenstein) Morgan. On October 29, 1997, Christine married Darold Marc Kidd in Adrian. They celebrated over 26 years together before his passing on May 20, 2024.
Christine was employed throughout her life in various jobs, including Peerless Gear, Herrick Hospital, Morenci Deli, and the Daily Telegram. When she wasn’t working, Christine could be found doing crafts, completing crossword puzzles, or watching game shows. She enjoyed her beanie babies, flowers, candles, and butterflies. Christine was known for being the best cook and you could taste her love in every bite. Above all else, she cherished her grandkids and great grandkids as they meant the entire world to her. Christine had a heart of gold and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
To cherish her memory, Christine leaves her daughters, Vikki (Steven) Schultz of New Bern, NC and Jenaca (Robert) Alcock of Morenci; four grandchildren, Paige Schultz, Bryce Schultz, Caylob (Destiny) Alcock, and Dalton Alcock; two great-grandchildren, Jenevieve Alcock and Haisley Alcock; three siblings, Mark (Donna) Morgan of Adrian, Jacalyn (Lauri Harty) Morgan of Kalkaska, MI, and Karma (Matt) McVay of Seneca; and numerous nieces and nephews. Christine was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Darold.
Visitation for Christine will take place on Monday, August 12, 2024, at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm. Rev. William VanValkenburg will officiate.
