Mary Anita Paduan, age 90, of Adrian, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 2, 2024. She was born in Hastings, Michigan to Hershel and Ethel Milligan on July 10, 1934.
After graduating high school, Mary married the love of her life, Francis James Paduan on March 7, 1953. She worked at Key Bank as the Branch Manager, retiring in 1994.
Everyone that knew Mary loved her. She was known for being the life of the party and very hospitable, her house being where the parties were always held. Living on Devil’s Lake, she was an active member of the Devil’s Lake Ski Club. Mary’s faith was very important to her and was a member of the Addison Church of Christ. Most of all, her family was her pride and joy and she loved being a mother and grandmother.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Jeffrey Dean (Jennifer) Paduan, Pamela Irene (David) Yarger, Frances Jean (Jay) Brant, Tonia Stephanie (Robert) Caribardi, and grandchildren; Austin David Yarger, Logan James Paduan, Alexis Belle Brant, Olivia Lorain Paduan, and Maximus Jay Brant.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, brother, Bud McCormick and sister, Irene Elwart.
Cremation has taken place, and per Mary’s wishes the services will be private.
