Adrian, MI – The City of Adrian has released the following update on the nine car train derailment that took place Friday morning:
“The CO2 tank car has been righted and is venting as normal. All streets in the area will be opened within the next hour. Railroad crews have asked that residents stay out of the area if possible as they will have crews and trucks moving around the area all weekend.
Police and Fire agencies are breaking down operations as any potential hazard to the public has been mitigated. Anyone who may have evacuated their homes may return.”
