Francisca Torres, age 77, of Adrian, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2024. She was born on October 23, 1946, in Manati, Puerto Rico, to Rosalia Torres. Francisca belonged to Community Connection and was an avid participant in Goodwill for over 20 years. She enjoyed the activities there with her friends and would often visit when she could no longer participate. Francisca was a member of Holy Family Parish – St. Mary Campus.
She is survived by her guardian, Mary Ellen Salazar; and her sister, Isabel Padro Caballero.
Visitation for Francisca will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home in Adrian, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM, where a Rosary Service will be held at 5:30 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024, at 10:30 AM, at Holy Family Parish – St. Joseph Campus, where visitation will begin at 9:30 AM. Father Tom Helfrich, OSFS, will be Celebrant. Cremation will follow and inurnment will be held at a later date in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
