Adrian, MI – State Senator Joe Bellino applauded the announcement that downtown Adrian will see new private investment thanks to a state grant through the Michigan Economic Development Corporation’s Match on Main program.
The Michigan Strategic Fund has approved a $25,000 grant for 101 East Maumee LLC to go along with $80,000 in private investment to purchase restaurant equipment and make interior renovations to support a new restaurant, the Maumee Street Taproom.
The Match on Main program serves as a tool to support new or expanding businesses as they seek to launch and grow in core downtown areas and commercial districts by providing up to $25,000 in funding to support an eligible small business through a competitive application process.
