LG Frederick, age 78, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. He was born December 26, 1945, to James Dewey and Flora (Kennedy) Frederick in Fayette, Alabama.
After graduating from Adrian High School, he found the love of his life, Susan Zeizert. They got married on October 23, 1965. He then entered the US Armed Forces. As a dedicated hard worker, LG was employed at Ford Motor Company for 31 years. Proceeding his retirement from Ford, he owned and operated Frederick’s Lawn Care. LG enjoyed bowling, scratchers, supporting Adrian Maples football, cheering on the Michigan Wolverines, burning stumps, mowing his lawn, going for country drives and time with his family. He also enjoyed baking and made the best cookies and pies!
In addition to his wife Sue, LG is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Jay) Reed; son, Chad (Christie) Frederick; brother, JD Frederick; sister, Christine Chambers; grandchildren, Brandon (Sarah), Isaiah (Alexandra), Kiersten (Alex), Kelsee; great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Maxwell, Jamison; and several nieces & nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents, in-laws Glen and Jerry Zeizert, and sister Kathy (Frederick) Clark.
There will be a celebration of life service Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Bethany Assembly of God church in Adrian.
