Raisin Charter Twp., MI – The Raisin Charter Township Planning Commission approved a plan for a large solar farm project called Beecher Solar during their meeting Tuesday night.

The Next Era Beecher Solar Project still has a handful of approvals to get before they can begin construction, including the Lenawee County Road Commission, Drain Commission, and the State of Michigan.
According to the plan, the main area for the solar panels will be between Holloway Road, Kerr Highway, Laberdee Road, and Chatfield Highway.
