
Judith F. Kopke, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. She was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan to Norman and Jarrell (Neely) Cole on February 19, 1948.
After graduating from Brighton High School Judi went on to work in the public school system doing clerical work in the office. On March 23, 1974, she married the love of her life Thomas Kopke at Holloway Presbyterian Church, he survives.
In her free time Judi enjoyed bowling and was on a bowling league. She could also be found immersed in a good book or playing cards with friends and family. Judi had an amazing faith and she found most joy singing in her church choir or helping at funeral lunches.
Left to cherish Judi is her husband of 50 years, Thomas; daughters; Michelle Blackerby (Roger Schwab), Elizabeth Sterling (Jason Warner), Jennifer (Daks) Meredith, Amy (Scott) Wisniewski; mother, Jarrell Cole; brothers; David (Sandy) Cole, Lynn Cole; sister, Dawn (Jack) Draper; grandchildren, Jacob Meyers, Falcon Hassenzahl, Caitlin Yape, Hannah Kopke, Gavin Huet, Julian Clark, Nicholas Adams, Paul Adams; two great-grandchildren, Wolf Hassenzahl and Covington Yape.
Preceding her in death are her father, Norman; nephews, David Cole II and Jason Cole and in-laws, Mary and Paul Kopke.
Judi was a blessing to all who knew her, she will be missed by many.
