Teen Dies, Another Sustains Serious Injuries, in Williams County Crash

Williams County, OH – The Defiance Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a single vehicle fatal crash that occurred early Tuesday morning in Williams County. The crash occurred at around 5:33am on County Road 13, with the vehicle being a 2008 Pontiac G6. The 16-year-old driver, from Bryan, Ohio, lost control of the vehicle and it left the roadway and overturned several times.

The driver was partially ejected. The 16-year-old passenger from Montpelier, Ohio was totally ejected from the vehicle. The passenger sustained serious injuries. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
