Adrian, MI – The Adrian City Commission has changed the start time for their regularly scheduled meetings, their study session format, and public comment sections. The new start time is 6pm Monday nights, a change from the old time of 7pm. The study session…if one is deemed necessary…will take place within the regular meeting, not beforehand.
There will be two times for public comment…once before agenda items that could have action taken on them, and once after all possible action items have been taken care of. Adrian Mayor Angie Heath told WLEN News after the recent meeting that she really likes this format…
The old format offered the public to comment on action items individually, after a motion to take action was made by a City Commissioner and support was offered by a second Commissioner.
