Adrian, MI – Through support from the Lenawee County Community, the Fair and Event Grounds have seen businesses step-up and repair damaged property caused by vandals last weekend.

On Thursday, the Fair posted on their Facebook page a thank-you to Krieghoff for repairing the Grandstands. The City of Adrian Police Department and the Lenawee County Fair and Event Grounds are continuing to investigate the vandalism done to the grandstands, and a restroom facility.

Heather Downs, Lenawee County Fair and Event Grounds Office Manager, told WLEN News that the restrooms will be fixed before the Fair in late July.

If you have any tips about the vandals at the fairgrounds, contact the City of Adrian Police Department. The APD said Friday morning that several persons of interest in the case have been identified, after the release of surveillance video of the area. They thank the public for the many calls and tips that led to their identification.

Anyone with additional information regarding the incident, or any witnesses that have not yet made a statement to police, should contact APD Detective Michael Gentner at 517-264-4808, or submit their information via email at APDTips@adrianmi.gov.
