Village of Blissfield Awarded Funding for Water Service Line Material ID Project

Blissfield, MI – The Village of Blissfield will receive $483,000 of Technical, Managerial, and Financial Funding from the Michigan State legislature’s appropriated $48 million for their water service line material identification project.

The project in Blissfield includes 665 service lines, each to be identified at three different locations including: inside the home and on both sides of the curb stop.

Blissfield Village Treasurer Brandon Hudson said, “I am thrilled to see us as the recipient of this grant funding, this will help fund a mandated requirement without putting further financial burden on our citizens.”
