Raisin Twp., Lenawee County – The Raisin Charter Township Planning Commission will be holding a Public Hearing on Tuesday for a Special land Use preliminary site plan review for an 800-plus-acre solar farm in the Township.
A public notice posted on the township’s website said that the meeting will be at 6:30pm at the Raisin Community Center at 3266 Gady Road. There will be time for public comment at the meeting. Community members can also send a letter to the Planning Commission, or call the office at (517) 423-3162.
The Site Plan Review is for Beecher Solar, LLC out of Juno Beach, Florida. The property is currently zoned Agricultural.
