Barb Zemlo, 69, of Murfreesboro, TN, formerly of Adrian, MI, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 after a valiant six year battle with cancer. She was born on February 10, 1954 in Tecumseh, Michigan the daughter of Frankie and Jean (Feller) Cremeans.
On May 28, 1994 Barb married Jerry Zemlo, of Adrian, MI and also joined him in operating Zemlo Inc. In 2008, they relocated to Murfreesboro, TN where Barb worked at Consolidated Utilities in the billing department.
Barb had been a member of the Adrian Moose and an active officer in the Adrian Elks. She was an avid reader and a member of Saint Rose Bocce Club. Barb loved spending time with Jerry, and together the two of them traveled around the world.
She is survived by Jerry, her husband of 29 years; mother, Jean Gray; children, Brandy Lockemy, Scott Zemlo and Jason Zemlo; 9 grandchildren that she loved and cherished, Ethan and Grace Gray of Adrian, Steve and Allie Lockamy, and Connor and Camden Altman all of Florence, SC and Robin, Jace and Zach Zemlo of Manchester, MI; sisters, Billie (Rick) Brocht, Bobbi (Mark) Vore, Christine (Mark) Coonrod and Gloria (Michael) Pressler; her aunt, Janice (Charles) Jordan and many wonderful extended family members. Barb was preceded in death by her fathers, Frankie Cremeans and Charles Gray, brothers Brad and Brent; and multiple aunts and uncles.
Following Barb’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private celebration of life will take place in the future.
