Lenawee County Man Sentenced 20-50 Years in Prison for Killing his Wife July 4th, 2022

Adrian, MI – The husband who pleaded guilty to killing his wife on the 4th of July, 2022 in Raisin Township has been sentenced to 20 to 50 years in prison.

Michael Allison, 46, was charged with Open Murder and Felony Firearms charges by the Lenawee County Prosecutor’s Office shortly after the shooting.

In April of this year, he pled guilty to Second Degree Murder. He shot twice, and killed, Nicole Allison, 27, in the ditch at their Gady Road property… in front of their children. The shooting occurred after she told him that their relationship was over. She was killed while fleeing their home.

Moments prior to sentencing, Allison said that he is sorry and that he loved Nicole “so much.” Lenawee County Circuit Court Judge Anna Marie Anzalone said to Allison: “people like you make women not safe in this world.”
