Dundee Awarded Lead Pipes Replacement Grant

Dundee, MI – Local State Senator Joe Bellino applauded a state grant to help the village of Dundee replace lead pipes in its community.

The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy awarded the village of Dundee with a $325,335 Community Technical, Managerial, and Financial Support for Lead Line Replacement grant.

The funds are to support work related to Dundee’s lead service line replacement program, including field verification to be conducted for approximately 227 service lines at properties where lead is suspected but not confirmed or where service line material is unknown but likely contains lead.
