

ADRIAN – Marshall Edward Agge, age 66, of Adrian, MI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at the Hospice of Lenawee Home, surrounded by the love and presence of his family.
Marshall was born on February 9, 1958, in Wayne, Michigan, the youngest of five brothers to William and Thelma (Jerore) Agge. He graduated from Canton High School with the Class of 1976.
In 1981, Marshall married the love of his life, Diane Dube, in Plymouth, MI. Their marriage of over 43 years was filled with love, laughter, and mutual respect. Together, they built a beautiful family and embraced the joys and challenges of parenthood when their son, Adam, was born.
Marshall’s easy-going personality and kind spirit were evident to everyone who knew him. His generosity, loyalty, and optimism were magnetic, and he was always willing to help anyone in need. Marshall retired as a meat cutter after 46 years of dedicated service with Meijer. His colleagues and customers appreciated his friendly demeanor and strong work ethic.
Marshall had a deep love for the outdoors. He found great joy in kayaking and fishing, which allowed him to connect with nature and find peace. He was also a passionate sports fan, steadfastly supporting the Green Bay Packers, Detroit Tigers, and the University of Michigan football and hockey teams. His enthusiasm for sports reflected his loyalty and commitment, which defined every aspect of his life.
Family was at the heart of everything Marshall did. He is survived by his beloved wife, Diane; their son, Adam (Danielle) Agge; and his cherished granddaughter, Elowyn Agge, who brought immense joy and pride to his life; brother Maxim (Andrea) Agge and William (Susan) Agge; nephews Scott, Marc, Bill, and Matt; and his niece, Amy. He also leaves many great nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.
Marshall was preceded in death by his parents, Thelma and William Agge, and his brothers, Roger (Janet) Agge and Richard Agge, who passed in infancy.

Marshall’s legacy is one of kindness, dedication, and unwavering love for his family and community. His life was a testament to the power of generosity and the importance of helping others. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
