Ray and Mary Maxe of Adrian, MI were married nearly 70 years and now are together again. Ray passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024 and Mary passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024.
They both enjoyed long careers in Adrian. Ray worked for the City of Adrian as the Parks and Recreation Director. His creative and innovative contributions can be seen throughout the city. Mary loved people and her work at Adrian High School, bringing smiles to the many faces around her. They were both active community volunteers. Ray and Mary loved to garden, watch birds, be by the shore and enjoy their family and friends.
Ray and Mary enjoyed a good life- full of good stories, good conversations, good food, good friends, good kids and good grandkids.
A gathering to celebrate the lives of Ray and Mary will be held on Monday, June 3 at 11:00 AM- Wagley Funeral Home. Family will greet friends an hour before the service.
