Car Strikes Home in Hudson Twp. Causing Serious Injuries to Driver

Hudson Twp., MI – The Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a crash that resulted in a Chevrolet Corvette striking an unoccupied home early Tuesday morning.

At around 6:51AM, Deputies responded to a serious injury crash at the residence in the 13000 block of West Carleton Road in Hudson Township involving the single vehicle crash.

According to Sheriff’s Deputies, a male driver from Hudson was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Corvette Eastbound on West Carleton Road. The male driver went off the road on the south side of West Carleton Road and through the yard striking a house with no occupants inside. The driver was transported to Henry Ford Jackson  Hospital with serious injuries.

The crash is still being investigated and alcohol is not believed to be a factor in this crash. The Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Hudson Twp Fire Department, Clayton Twp Fire Dept and Hudson EMS.
