Adrian, MI – The Annual Greg Adams E-race Stigma 5k will take place this weekend in downtown Adrian. The event organizers encourage people of all abilities to register, as there will be different categories of races. All kids dash participants will receive a medal.

Awards will also be given to the top three 5k finishers in each age group, male and female. All proceeds to support health education programs in Lenawee County. The goal is to increase the awareness of mental health issues with a focus on overall health and wellness; mind, body, and spirit. Results will be posted online… and the race will be chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.

Jen Landstrom and Megan McLemore with the Lenawee Community Mental Health Association were on a recent Community Conversation to talk about the Sunday morning race…

The race will begin at the Farmers Market Pavilion in Adrian. For more information on the Greg Adams E-race Stigma 5k run/walk fundraiser, go to runsignup.com, or find the event on Facebook.
