Adrian, MI – Gleaner Life Insurance Society will again help Lenawee County residents honor Flag Day by hosting an exchange of worn and weathered American flags in June. The June 12th event will help residents have a new American flag ready for Flag Day on June 14th.
The exchange is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in front of the Home Office on West U.S. 223 in Adrian. Lenawee County residents are welcome to exchange one old flag per person for one new flag. The exchange is free, but donations will be accepted. Proceeds will benefit Woodworking for Warriors.
To obtain enough flags with either grommets or pole sleeves, residents seeking a flag must register online at gleanerlife.org/flagexchange by June 5th.
