ProMedica Hickman Hospital Earns “A” Grade from National Nonprofit Watchdog

Lenawee County, MI- ProMedica Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit watchdog.

Leapfrog assigns grades to general hospitals across the country based on over 30 measures of errors, accidents, injuries and infections as well as the systems hospitals have in place to prevent them.

Dr. Julie Yaroch, President of ProMedica Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital, said: “We are so proud to have received this recognition from Leapfrog once again. It is a reflection of our commitment to providing the best possible care to our community. Our team works hard to follow best practice, delivering care that is of the highest quality within the safest environment for our patients and staff. This award validates our commitment to give 110 percent at all times.”
