Adrian, MI – The Lenawee County community is preparing for Chico’s Cinco de Mayo parade and festivities this weekend. The events were outlined on a recent Community Conversation program. You can listen to it by going to our website here: https://www.wlen.com/community-conversation/

Teresa Martinez talked with program host Dale Gaertner about why the local celebration is named after Chico….

The parade will step-off at 1pm from Greenly and Maumee Streets, in Adrian…and proceed to the Lenawee County Fair and Event Grounds. The festival will run from 1pm until 12am. Three bands will be performing, along with food, vendors, and wrestling. Admission is a $10 donation.
