Adrian High School Students Excel at Math Olympics at SVSU

Adrian, MI – Seventy students from Adrian High School recently represented Lenawee County in the annual Math Olympics held at Saginaw Valley State University.

The event featured two levels of competition: Level I, which included general math through and including Algebra 2, and Level II, which included Precalculus and International Baccalaureate Mathematics.

Adrian High School Level I, Level II, and Combined Level I and II teams received third-place trophies in the 2024 SVSU Math Olympics. Stefano Salute received an honorable mention in Level II individuals for scoring in the top 10 percent.

Claire Steward-Britton received honorable mentions in Level I individuals for scoring in the top 10 percent. At the same time, Edward Hendrick was awarded a medal for 2nd place among all Level II competitors.

Jason Lucius, a teacher and co-coach of the team, AHS teacher Elaine Kaiser, Principal Sam Skeels, and Superintendent Nate Parker all praised the students’ outstanding performance.
