Adrian Budget/General Appropriation Act Passed by Commission

Adrian, MI – The Adrian City Commission approved, unanimously, the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Budget and General Appropriations Act. Adrian City Administrator Greg Elliott told WLEN News that the budget is rather conservative, but did re-institute a position for Economic Development Coordinator.

The role was eliminated a few years ago in favor of adding a Code Enforcement Officer. Elliott said that the Economic Development Coordinator position would, ideally, pay for itself by bringing in grant dollars and businesses to the City. There are not any major capital projects planned for this year, says Elliott..
