Adrian, MI – The Adrian City Commission approved, unanimously, the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Budget and General Appropriations Act. Adrian City Administrator Greg Elliott told WLEN News that the budget is rather conservative, but did re-institute a position for Economic Development Coordinator.
The role was eliminated a few years ago in favor of adding a Code Enforcement Officer. Elliott said that the Economic Development Coordinator position would, ideally, pay for itself by bringing in grant dollars and businesses to the City.
