Tipton, MI – The family of Dee Warner has planned a Celebration of Life this weekend. The event was posted on the social media group “Justice For Dee,” and will take place Saturday at 10101 Wisner Highway, Tipton at around 2:30pm.

There will be a few speakers at around 5pm, with a dinner for close friends and family to follow. The family is asking people to RSVP if you plan to attend so they can plan accordingly. Before opening to the public, the family will have a private moment of prayers and blessing her gravestone, which will be located next to her parent’s grave at the Tipton Cemetery.

There has been no trace of Dee since her disappearance from her Munger Road home in April, 2021. The past three years has brought local, statewide, national, and global attention to Lenawee County as the story unfolded. Lenawee County Probate Judge Catherine Sala legally declared her dead earlier this year.

In the late fall of 2023 Dee’s husband, Dale Warner, was arrested and charged with murder. Lenawee County District Court Judge Laura J. Schaedler was originally assigned to the case. The judge of record in the case changed earlier this month to a Judge from Washtenaw County, Honorable Anna M. Frushour. A preliminary examination has been scheduled to begin May 1st at 8:00am.
