Adrian, MI – A male pedestrian succumbed to injuries sustained when he was stuck by a car in Adrian Friday night.
At about 8:55pm the Adrian Police Department was dispatched to a car pedestrian accident on Main St just north of Metcalf St. The injured pedestrian was transported to ProMedica Toledo Hospital with life threatening injuries by the Adrian Fire Department. Once at the hospital the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries.
APD says that the driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with investigators. The Adrian Police Department was assisted by the Lenawee Accident Investigation Team, Madison Township Police Department, and Adrian Fire Department.
