
Adrian, MI – A free Boating Responsibility Class will be held at the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office in April and May. The main purpose of the boater safety education course is to train knowledgeable, safe, and responsible boaters.
Topics covered include general boating and water safety, navigational rules, causes and prevention of crashes, operation and fueling techniques, environmental concerns and reporting responsibility.
Michigan’s boater education course is taught by a dedicated core of volunteer instructors, Sheriff’s deputies, and Michigan conservation officers.
Classes are offered on April 14th, 20th… and May 4th and 18th.
Students MUST pre register online prior to class by visiting Michigan Department of Natural Resources class registration page.
