Tecumseh, MI – The City of Tecumseh Utilities Superintendent is asking water customers and irrigation contractors to delay the 2024 Spring start up and normal operation of irrigation systems until the water tower maintenance and painting work has been completed.
Todd Knepper says that the 500,000 gallon water tower will be out of service during the months of April and May.
While the water tower is out of service, Tecumseh’s water system will be operated with at least one well running continuously to provide adequate water and pressure to the entire system.
Additional project information and updates are available on the city’s website, mytecumseh.org, or contact the Utilities department.
