Tecumseh, MI – ProMedica has closed on the sale of the former Herrick Hospital building in Tecumseh. Jack Baker, Tecumseh’s Mayor, was recently on View Point. He talked about the sale of the building, and its new purpose…
He said that initially they will only offer walk-in services, but would offer beds for those in need as they implement their phases. Once all phases are implemented, Mayor Baker said that they would employ approximately 100 people.
Remodeling work has already begun at the old Herrick Hospital building…which closed its doors in 2020 when ProMedica consolidated it with Adrian’s Bixby Hospital and opened Hickman Hospital, on M-52 in Adrian Township.
