Adrian, MI – Local nonprofit ATHENA Lenawee is seeking nominations for three awards promoting women’s leadership: the Leadership Award, Parthenon Award, and Young Professional Award.
The ATHENA Leadership Award recognizes individuals who strive toward the highest levels of professional accomplishments, who excel in their chosen field, have devoted time and energy to their community in a meaningful way, and who also open paths so that others may follow.
The Parthenon Award celebrates businesses dedicated to raising the potential of all women as valued members of their business, profession, and the community.
And the Young Professional Award is for women 40 years old or younger who demonstrates excellence, creativity, and initiative in her business or profession.
The criteria for all three awards, a list of previous recipients, as well as nomination forms are available at athenalenawee.org/awards. Nominations are due by June 30th, and may be emailed to athenalenaweeawards@comcast.net or mailed to ATHENA Lenawee, PO Box 482, Adrian, Michigan 49221.
