addison-schools-2023

Addison, MI – Addison Community Schools Superintendent, Dan Bauer, informed the community that following the tragic death of his son-in-law he will be resigning from his position effective June 30th to spend much needed time with his daughter and grandchildren who live in northern Michigan.

A special Board meeting has been scheduled on April 3rd at 6pm to discuss proposals for a financial auditor and to review proposals on superintendent search firms at that meeting. The Board of Education’s goal would be to conduct a search, interview, and selection process before the end of the school year.

Bauer was selected as superintendent and began his tenure in Addison just over six months ago.
