
Hudson, MI – The Hudson City Clerk’s Office released guidance on the City’s upcoming Spring Rubbish Pick-Up. The rubbish pick-up will take place Saturday, April 20th. All items for general pick-up must be at the street by 6am, but no earlier than seven days before the pick up date.
ACCEPTBLE:
- All bagged and containerized municipal solid waste
- bags and containers must weigh less than 50 pounds
- larger items, such as furniture mattresses, box springs, toys , bicycles, appliances, home fixtures, and other items. as long as they are considered non hazardous and can be safely lifted by two people
- latex paints. Contents must be solid and dry
- crews are NOT allowed to unload vehicles or trailers
UNACCEPTABLE:
- small, loose items
- auto parts
- batteries
- tires
- cement bricks cinder blocks
- dirt, stone mulch
- shingles
- wood with nails in it
- paneling larger than 4x4x4
- drywall in containers that weigh more than 50 pounds
- paint that is still liquid
- any item banned from Michigan Landfills
